Finished! The October Edition

Firstly, sorry about neglecting the blog these last few days. I've been very busy with shopping (the new Mac collections are out as well as Dior, Chanel and those gorgeous Models Own Beetlejuice nail polishes) and also updating my blog sale (nearly done). Plus little everyday things like children and cleaning and washing and cooking... You know.

Anyway, another month has gone past, so here's another post about all the products I've finished last month. Only five though, sadly, however there are quite a few other ones just hanging by their teeth. Just like this first product was, I thought I'd never finish it.

It's Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. Couldn't wait to finish it off. Firstly, it's not a scrub. It's a creamy cleanser with some very soft bits in it. It does not scrub, nor it does exfoliate. It is not a deep cleansing scrub like it claims. It did nothing for me, my pores are still there, clogged and as big as ever. Waste of money. (Can you tell I didn't like this?)

Finished! The September edition

Not too many things this month I'm afraid as I finished an awful lot of products last month and there are quite a few products that I've been using every day and they refuse to die. Hopefully there'll be a lot more next month.

First up is actually a product that I was planning on including in last month's Finished! post, but it simply refused to run out. I used it pretty much every day and it still lasted another month. Actually it still had some life left in it, but since I'd actually had it for about 2 years already, I decided it had to go. It's Givenchy Phenomen'eyes mascara, one of my HG mascaras, I love it, it really works for me. I have reviewed it already, so read this post if you want to know more about it.

Biore Facial Deep Cleansing and Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

Confession time: I have a lot of blackheads. Mainly on my nose, but also my chin and and a good few on my forehead too. However, I'm a whimp, so I don't have my pores cleaned out by professionals. I don't know why, I just never go to a beautician, never been other than before my wedding, never want to go again. I didn't have big blemishes as a teenager, so I didn't need to go and so I never got used to the idea I guess. So instead I do it by myself and the help of Biore Facial Deep Cleansing and Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips.

The one on the left is for your forehead and chin, the one on the right is for your nose. Otherwise they're pretty much the same things, small paper strips coated in sticky stuff that you put on your wet face, wait for them to dry, then peel off and voila, dirt from your pores is pulled out with them.

I have to confess to another thing: I love studying these little strips once they're off to see just how much dirt they pulled out of my pores. I know, it's disgusting, but somehow it makes me feel good about myself. I'm doing something for my skin, after all the abuse it's subjected to with me wearing make up 7 days a week for about 14-15 hours a day. Now don't worry, I will not be showing you the used strips, wouldn't want to give you nightmares or make you sick.

Carry on reading my review and see more pictures after the jump!
