Haul Pictures

I am so happy we can finally get Essence in the UK! In case you didn't know, Essence is now being sold in Wilkinson. My small local branch only has a small display, but I popped into a bigger one that had a much bigger one. Today I want to show you what I picked up as well as a couple of other bits from Topshop, Superdrug and Boots.

So from Essence I got these cute nail stickers for when I'm too lazy to do some stamping, and a nail polish called Laser Show which is a glitter topper with silver microshimmer and black glitter. From Topshop I picked up two glitter polishes called Dreamlike and Myth.

Also from Essence, I got their Blush Up powder blush that bears a very strong resemblance to Mac's blush ombres. It's very pigmented, just great for summer. I also got the new Sleek palette, Rio Rio and Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in New Moon, one of the new summer shades. I have another shade to show you, which I'll be writing a full review on very soon.

Have you been buying any make up or nail polish lately?

NOTD: Models Own Blooming Pink with Barry M Pink Sapphire Glitter

I have a nice cheerful mani to share with you, this is Models Own Blooming Pink topped with Barry M Pink Sapphire Glitter polish.

I applied two coats of Models Own Blooming Pink which had a very nice, easy to apply formula. Then followed by two coats of Barry M Pink Sapphire Glitter which was a little hard to get to apply evenly. Two coats did the trick and the result was this shimmery, glittery pretty pink mani.

Both polishes are permanent, so easy to find and are both very cheap, Models Own polishes cost £5 each and Barry M glitter polishes cost £2.99 each, but there's usually some sort of an offer on these either at Boots or Superdrug.

Sleek Make Up Aqua Collection Mirrored Pink Blush Review and Swatches

Gah, I've been so busy these past few days, I've hardly been home, so that's why I haven't been posting much. I'm gonna quickly write this post up and then go to bed, I'm knackered. I know this is just a hobby, but I feel bad about not being able to blog. Hopefully next week will be a bit calmer.

The other day I showed you the eyeshadow palette from the Sleek Make Up Aqua Collection and today I've got the blush called Mirrored Pink. The blush comes in the same style cardboard box as the palette, and the compact itself is the regular black Sleek compact with the full size mirror in the lid.

Mirrored Pink is a frosty, slightly cool blue pink shade with fine gold shimmer, can't actually think of what other blush to compare it to. It's really nicely pigmented and smooth, not too powdery, and it wears very well. It is a bit frosty and it's quite easy to overdo, but it is a lovely blush. I have been using it for the past few days and it's very easy to wear. I did enclose a picture at the end of this post, but I wasn't wearing much else in the way of make up as I'd been to the pool, so excuse my disshivelled look please!

My only niggle about this product, and this might just be my compact, but I find it very hard to open it, so instead of trying to force it open with my nails, I'm now using a pair of nail scissors to pop the lid open. Shouldn't be necessary, but it could be a one off. At least it closes securily!

The blush costs £4.49 and you get a whopping 8 g, so it's still a brilliant bargain and it is really lovely. It's limited edition and is available from Superdrug and the Sleek Make Up website.

Sleek Make Up Aqua Collection Lagoon Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Nowadays Sleek Make Up eyeshadows are pretty much the only drugstore eyeshadows I buy (yes, I've turned into a make up snob). They are still great value for money and their quality is up there with Mac, Inglot, etc. eyeshadows. So as you can imagine, I was very happy to get my hands on the new limited edition Aqua collection, and in particular Lagoon eyeshadow palette (I will review Mirrored Pink blush another time).

The palette comes in a gorgeous cardboard sleeve, but inside the sleeve it's the usual matte black palette with a full size mirror in the lid, 12 eyeshadows and a double ended applicator. The eyeshadows come in a good variety of shades, you get yellow, green, teal, blue, coral, pink, the lot. Some (most) are shimmery/frosty and there are 3 matte ones too. They swatched very nicely, with the exeption of the matte ones which swatched okay, but actually all of them applied, blended and stayed really well on my eyelids.

I have done a few nice looks with this, although I still haven't used the bright coral shade (which I guess would also make a nice blush, if only the pans were bigger) and the black one. There isn't an obvious highlighter shade in it (the white one is too frosty for highlighting, better in the inner corner/tearduct area), but if your collection is even a quarter of mine, I'm sure you will own a highlighter shade to use with it.

All in all I'm very pleased with the palette and other than my usual compaints (put the shade names on the palette somewhere rather than the see through protective sheet, get rid of the applicator, stop putting the price up by a quid every year) it's a really nice one to have. I find some of my Sleek palettes a little hard to use due to the colour selection, but this one is really great, provided of course that you like bright colours. Other than the light purple and the rosy pink shadow, everything is pretty bright and loud in here!

The palette costs £7.99 for 13.2 g of eyeshadows. I bought mine from the Superdrug website, but haven't actually seen this on the shelves, also this doesn't seem to be on the Sleek website at the moment.

I'll leave yo with a picture of Paws, out gorgeous big cat who decided to "help" when I wanted to photograph the palette and blush!

2012 Favourites - Part 5: Skincare and Haircare

Okay, I know this is possibly the least exciting post of the 2012 Favourites series, but I wanted to do it anyway because now that I'm getting older, I'm finding it increasingly important to have a good skincare routine. Mine isn't really complicated, especially because I'm always so late going to bed, I never have the energy to do a lenghty routine. I do have a good cleanser and make up remover, and also a good serum, night cream and eye cream, with the occasional scrub and mask thrown in, so that's fine. In the mornings I just use a face cream having washed my face in the shower with clean water. I don't have time for more, it's as simple as that.

I did a video about my skincare routine back in April and although some products I'm not using anymore (have run out or have decided to change), it gives you a good idea about which products I enjoyed using in 2012. Check it out here

I'll start with cleansing. I usually use Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make Up Remover (old style, this has now been rreformulated) followed by Simple Kind To Skin Facial Cleansing Wipes. The two together work very well for removing make up and dirt from my skin. I haven't found a cleanser I am that chuffed about, I just can't really get excited about a cleanser, but every one I've used so far does a good enough job. I'm currently using a L'Occitane cleanser with the longest, most complicated name that I refuse to copy. I also really like Lancome Bi-Facil and will probably use it instead of the Boots one because I've heard that the new, reformulated version isn't very good.

NOTD: Barry M 344 Magnetic Gold Sparkle / Moon Dust

I'm still on the fence about magnetic polishes, even though I always get lots of complimentents when wearing them. I'd only owned 3 of them so far (one Nails Inc and 2 17 ones), and decided I wasn't going to get any more. I don't hate them but they can be quite fiddly. However, then I saw the recent shades Barry M had come out with and decided I had to try them out. I also like it that they come with different pattern magnets, so you can mix and match.

Magnetic Gold Sparkle (or as it's now been renamed Moon Dust) is an antique gold colour polish with gold sparkle. None of my other magnetic polishes had sparkle, so I thought this might look quite interesting. I didn't anticipate just how gorgeous it would look once I've put the magnet over it, in fact both my daughter and I exclaimed when we saw the result, it's truly striking.

You get silvery stripes as well as darker gold ones with sparkle, neither colour actually resembling the colour of the polish in the bottle. It's like two colours had been mixed together and then separated by the magnet. The effect is almost 3D, and it appears to move as I move my hand. I have had many compliments when wearing it, the beauty of these magnetic polishes is that they look like you've had your nails done whereas you can do them quite easily yourself.

I do find them a little fiddly to use, sometimes the design doesn't come out as sharp and sometimes I manage to touch the nail with the magnet. I also found that the stripes got a bit messed up when I applied the top coat, I don't know if maybe waiting a bit would've helped. Wear time wasn't that great, it started chipping on me within the first 24 hours. This isn't unusual, but not every polish chips on me on the first day, so I'm still not too happy about it.

I used two coats on most fingers, but some of them I had to redo several times, so I just kept applying extra layers. It dried fairly quickly and other than the top coat's brush leaving slight marks in the design, the polish was pretty easy to use.

Barry M magnetic polishes come in 5 shimmery shades and 4 non-shimmery ones, and they come with 5 different magnets (one each). They cost £4.99 each and you get 10 ml for your money. Of course there are usually deals on in either Superdrug or Boots, so keep an eye out!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick Review and Swatches

This is the third Revlon product I bought to get this gorgeous free nail polish, and the one I was actually the most pleasantly surprised by.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is the newest product in the Revlon lip product line. I am already a massive fun of their lip butters and have them in loads of colours, so I was intrigued to try out the balm stains too, however, when they first came out I passed on them mostly because of the minty smell. I decided to try one this time and picked Lovesick which is a bright bubblegum pink shade.

I am absolutely blown away by this. The minty smell isn't my favourite, but it disappears within a minute or so, but the product itself is so lovely, I don't even mind it one bit. It is exactly what it says on the "tin", a stain that's also a balm, so it's not drying unlike some stains are, in fact it's very hydrating. Also, the colour lasts and lasts for ages, and in fact not only a colour, but the glossiness itself. It leaves a stain behind when it fades away after several hours of wear, but also it stays on my lips really well. The colour is gorgeous too, although it looks a bit patchy in the pictures, it's definitely not patchy on the lips. I have used it many many times in the past couple of weeks, and there's hardly any missing. This is one of the best lip products I have tried I swear.

I have tried out a few other shades since, but none of them have blown me away, so I probably won't pick up any more for now (plus I should be on a lip product no-buy), but will keep an eye out for any possible new shades. Oh, the crayon itself is rectractable, so no need for sharpening. This is basically the cheap version of the Clinique chubby sticks (which I haven't tried myself, but they look pretty much the same, don't know about the products inside though).

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains cost £7.99 each and you get 2.7 g. As I said, it looks like it's gonna last forever, so although 2.7 g isn't massive, it's not too bad either.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Kiss Me Coral Review and Swatches

Here's another lipstick I bought to get that free gorgeous nail polish . This is also a Super Lustrous one from Revlon, the colour is Kiss Me Coral.

Despite its name, this is not actually a coral shade, it's much more orange. As a result, I'm not really sure I like it. Oranges don't suit me that well, I much prefer corals and pinky corals over them. Serves me right for impulse buying. But the nail polish was just so pretty.

It's still a nice lipstick, has the same great Super Lustrous formula I've got to know and love. This one is a cream (creme) finish, it's really creamy, smooth and long lasting. All in all, a lovely lipstick, only it's not coral. So far 2 out of 3 lipsticks I've bought to get the polish turned out to be a bit of a letdown (dupe for another colour, not coral), but the third one (which I will show you soon) has turned out to be a winner. Stay tuned to find out what it is!

Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks cost £7.49 and you get a generous 4.2 g. There's currently a 3 for 2 offer on all Revlon make up and you can get this gorgeous nail polish for free if you buy 3 or more Revlon products from Superdrug.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Cherry Blossom Review and Swatches

The other day I showed you the gorgeous pink glitter nail polish you can get for free (from Superdrug) if you buy 3 other Revlon products, so let me now show you one of them. I bought this gorgeous Super Lustrous lipstick in the shade Cherry Blossom.

I have said before, I absolutely love Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks, especially the cream finish ones, but having said that, Cherry Blossom is a pearl finish and it's also very nice. Creamy, well pigmented, non drying and long lasting, Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks have to be my favourite drugstore/high street brand lipsticks. Nowadays I actually very rarely buy non high end lipsticks (and not just because the no-buy I'm supposed to be on - oops), but if I buy some, they'll most probably be from Revlon. I also love it that these lipsticks are unscented. While I don't generally mind scented lip products, I hate that sickly sweet fake smell drugstore lipsticks often smell of, Maybelline being the worst offender for me.

So was this lipstick worth falling off the (no-buy) wagon for? Yes and no. Quality-wise I really cannot fault it, it's lovely, really great, beautiful shade, lasts for hours while feeling very comfortable on the lips. My only problem is that this is not actually a unique shade. By that I don't mean it's similar to 20 lipsticks in my collection, I mean that it's almost exactly the same as Revlon's own Cherries In The Snow (you can see my review here). I swatched them side by side and there's hardly any difference. So truthfully I didn't actually need it. The other weird thing is, there's apparently another shade of Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Cherry Blossom available which is a pale pink colour. If you google it, you get two very different shades. I wonder whether the light shade is an old, discontinued shade, but what a weird way of recycling a name, especially when the colour is actually very different.

Anyway, this is a lovely lipstick in a gorgeous shade, so would definitely recommend it if you don't already own Cherries In The Snow. Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks cost £7.49 and you get a generous 4.2 g. There's currently a 3 for 2 offer on all Revlon make up and you can get this gorgeous nail polish for free if you buy 3 or more Revlon products from Superdrug.

Get A Free Revlon Ruby Ribbon Nail Polish At Superdrug!

First of all I want to say that I've given up on the nail polish no-buy. I can't do it, so might as well not pretend that I'm not buying nail polish, and since I am, I might as well show off what I've got. Right?

So today I thought I'd show you this beauty I picked up yesterday in Superdrug - for free! As well as a 3 for 2 offer you get a free glitter nail polish if you buy 3 or more Revlon products. As this is not available to buy on its own, I just had to buy 3 things, which sadly made me fall off another wagon, but I'll tell you later about that.

Ruby Ribbon is a bright pink glitter polish with holographic bar glitter. It's really gorgeous, very sparkly and festive. It reminds me of Zoya Kissy (link by Scrangie) from last year's Gems and Jewels Collection. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know what it's like, but it looks like it has a good coverage on its own. Alternatively I guess it can always be layered over a similar coloured polish.

You get 14.7 ml and Revlon nail polishes usually cost £6.49. *P.S. Boots also have the same offer including Sequin, a gold glitter polish which I haven't actually seen in person myself.

Accessorize Baked Duo Eyeshadows #12 Maia Review and Swatches

A while ago I was walking around Superdrug and found a few reduced eyeshadow duos on the Accessorize stand. I don't know if those particular shades are being discontinued or not, but I decided to pick up Maia anyway as it looked very pretty. I love the packaging with the pretty butterflies and the product inside is realy lovely too. (I have reviewed 4 other shades in the past, to read my review please click here.)

It is a baked formula and the eyeshadow is domed in the pan. Maia contains a frosty white gold shade (similar to Nars Albatross, but frostier) and a satiny olive green shade with bronze flecks. Both are nicely pigmented and smooth, apply really nicely and stay on all day without creasing (over primer). The swatches below were done dry, but these can also be used wet to intensify the colours.

I can't find this particular shade on either website, in fact the Superdrug website isn't showing any of the baked duo eyeshadows, but on the Accessorize website the other shades retail for £4. I can't remember how much I paid, it was between £2-3, so not much. You get a generous 4.5 g of product for your money.

NOTD: GOSH Holographic Hero Nail Polish - For One Night Only?

If you follow me on Twitter, you will have seen my tweets about Gosh's coveted Holographic Hero nail polish that has been re-released recently. It has been branded as a "one night only" polish due to problems with it chipping quickly, so I thought I'd give it a go myself and see how much of that is true.

Taken without flash in direct sunlight

I was actually very pleasantly surprised by how well it lasted. The picture above was taken about 36 hours after I painted my nails. You can see a small crach on my middle finger nail, that's due to that bit of nail peeling badly (and subsequently breaking off sadly), but other than that there are were only a couple of small chips on my index finger nails after 2 days or so. I kept it on another day and by the end of day 3 it did look pretty bad, but no worse than any other nail polish (with a very few exceptions) would look on me. It certainly wasn't a one nighter for me.

The formula is very nice, thin enough to apply evenly and dry quickly. With holographic nail polish I always apply base coat, 2 coats of holo polish, then a top coat and another coat of holo polish on top which helps make it longer lasting and also this way the top coat doesn't dull the holographic effect. The holo effect on this is gorgeous, it's proper linear holo, although the Glitter Gal holographic polishes have a stronger linear effect. I think this one is up with the Layla holographic polishes I've tried, but is cheaper than both the Glitter Gal and Layla polishes. There wasn't any sunshine on the day I took most of the pictures, so I included some taken under strong indoor light and with flash too.

The GOSH Holographic Hero nial polish is available for £4.99 (for 8 ml) if you can find it. Although it's now permanent, it has taken me a couple of weeks to find it as most Superdrugs were out of stock. Hopefully once the hype dies down, it will be more readily available. If you like holographic polishes, this one is definitely a nice to have.

If you have it, let me know in the comments how you like it.

Simple Kind To Skin Facial Cleansing Wipes

After finishing the Primark Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes I decided to try something else, and on a trip to Boots I picked up these Simple Facial Wipes.I didn't like the smell of the Primark ones, but luckily these Simple ones have no scent.

They contain pro-vitamin B5 that "actively restores, softens and smoothes", and have no alcohol, oil, perfume or colour, so should be suitable for sensitive skin. They work well for me, although my skin isn't actually sensitive. They clean well and I like it that even the last one is well soaked through with cleanser, so 25 days after opening the pack the last one still feels as moist as the first one did (I do store them upside down to make sure the top one doesn't dry out either).

All in all, I like these cleansing wipes and have already replaced the packet. They cost quite a bit more than the Primark ones, you get 25 wipes for £3.20 (although there's currently a 2 for £5 offer on at Boots) which is still very reasonable.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows Review and Swatches Part 8 - Glistening Garnet

As you know, I love L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows and I'm always in search of new shades. I picked up Glistening Garnet from eBay as this shade is sadly not available in the UK. (I'm also awaiting the arrival of two other non-UK shades, so I'll review those as soon as I can too.

Glistening Garnet is a darkened fuchsia shade that looks quite dark in the pot, but applies quite a bit lighter. I used it with a blending brush in the crease and it applied and blended really nicely. It's a really pretty shade and I would love it if they released it in the UK too.

I bought this for $7.95 on eBay and with postage it cost me around £7.50 which isn't too bad. In the UK they cost £6.99 (obviously not this one).

I have a recap post with links to all my prevous reviews of L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows here. There is also a website with a brilliant list comparing all the shades available in different countries here.

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover Review

I had to pick up Bourjois's Magic Nail Polish remover after all the raves I saw on other blogs. When something says magic in the name, you just feel like you have to try it and see just how magic it really is. Well I do anyway. So I tried it out, both with regular and glitter nail polish.

But firstly, let me explain what it is. You get a plastic tub with a black sponge inside soaked in nail polish remover with a hole in the top that you put your finger in, then twist and remove to find all the nail polish has disappeared. Sounds magical, doesn't it?

Well, it doesn't quite do what it promises. With regular nail polish it works rather quickly, but I still need to put my fingers in for a second or even third time to get all the nail polish off. So make that more like 5-6 seconds. Which is about how long it takes me to wipe a nail with cotton wool soaked in nail polish remover. With glitter nail polish it takes a lot longer than 1 second, but I was expecting that. It probably takes about 30 seconds per finger and I need to keep putting my finger in and twisting and pulling out and again and again. What I like though is that unlike with cotton wool, it doesn't stick into the glitter as it dissolves. You do end up with a few flecks of black sponge, but that's all.

The product is heavily scented, the scent reminds me of raspberries, so it's not unpleasant, but rather heavy. I do not like the sticky, greasy residue on my hands afterwards though, I have to wash them a few times with soap afterwards to get rid of the sticky feeling it leaves behind. At least it's not drying, although I haven't used it long enough to see if it makes my weak, peeling nails better or worse in the long run.

All in all, I'm not blown over by this product and it's certainly not magic, but I can see it being very useful if you're travelling and don't want to bother with a bottle of nail polish remover and cotton wool pads. Plus it does work quickly, and it does make glitter nail polish removal much easier. However, due to the sticky residue I will be only be using it for glitter nail polish removal in the future. I'm perfectly happy with my Sally Hansen nail polish remover and a cotton wool pad for regular nail polish.

You get 75 ml which I believe is all soaked into the pad (as the pad goes all the way down) for £4.99 which makes it a lot more expensive than my regular Sally Hansen nail polish remover. It is available from Boots, Superdrug and whereever they sell Bourjois products.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows Review and Swatches Part 7 - Metallic Lilac

I wasn't going to get this. Honest. But then somehow it ended up in my basket in Superdrug. You know how these things are. I am happy I got it though as I really like the L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows and Metallic Lilac is a very pretty shade. It's a silvery purple shade (more purple than Flashback Silver) with pretty pink flecks in it. The pink doesn't really show up in the overall colour, but it's ever so pretty to look at in the pan.

The texture and longevity is pretty much the same as the other L'Oreal Infallible shadows I own (except for Smoothie Kiwi which isn't that great). If you would like to check out the other reviews I have posted on here, please click on the links below:

Part 1 (Purple Obsession, Flashback Silver, Goldmine, Bronze Divine)
Part 2 (Permanent Kaki, Sahara Treasure)
Part 3 (Infinite Sky, Amber Rush)
Part 4 (Naughty Strawberry, Innocent Turqouise, Sassy Marshmallow, Magnetic Coral)
Part 5 (All Night Blue, Time Resist White)
Part 6 (Forever Pink, Smoothie Kiwi)

As always, these eyeshadows acost £6.99 and available from Boots, Superdrug and other places that sell L'Oreal make up.

NOTD: Andrea Fulerton Nail Boutique Colour in Kylie

Andrea Fulerton nail polishes are one of the few that last on me for over 2 days without chipping, usually best part of 3. I know this isn't that fantastic by normal standards, but it is by mine as almost everything chips on me within 48 hours. And that is why I now own quite a few shades of these polishes. Also they are pretty cheap and readily available from Superdrug, and they come in many lovely shades.

Taken without flash in direct sunlight

I have the shade named Kylie here which is a silvery light purple with gold and purple tiny flecks of glitter. Yes, I am fully aware that in my pictures it doesn't look the slight bit of purple and you can't really see the gold and purple glitter, but trust me, it's all there. It is rather a unique shade and very pretty in the sunlight, sadly my pictures don't do it justice.

Like other Andrea Fulerton nail polishes, this also has a lovely, easy to apply formula and doesn't chip on me for 3 days. I think the above shows 3 coats, but I'm not 100% certain, however, I normally do 3, so let's go with that.

You get 5.5 ml, so it's a rather small size, but only costs £5.10 (currently on offer for £3.99) from Superdrug. Have you tried any Andrea Fulerton nail polishes? What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

L'Oreal Glam Shine Miss Candy Lipglosses Review and Swatches

Along with the new shades of the Infallible eyeshadows, L'Oreal has also come sout with some rather pretty looking glosses for the summer. They are part of the Glam Shine line which I own quite a few of already, and the collection of 6 shades is called Miss Candy. The glosses are made up of swirls of two colours.

Tart Lollipop, Pink Treat

I bought Tart Lollipop and Pink Treat, they seemed to be the most pigmented of the six. Tart Lollipop is a mix of sheer watermelon red and shimmery fuchsia pink, mixed together resulting in a shimmery sheer pinky red shade. Pink Treat is a mixture of shimmery pinky beige and glittery pearly pink (with multicolour glitter), mixed together resulting in a shimmery-glittery pinky beige colour. While they show up quite well when swatched, on the lips they mostly just add some shimmer to the lips. Pink Treat is more opaque, making it actually rather too light for me. Tart Lollipop is mostly just sheer pink shimmer on me.

The glosses are non-sticky and feel very comfortable to wear. Because they're so sheer, they disappear within an hour to 90 minutes, depending on whether I drink at all (they completely disappear if I eat while wearing them). They come with their unique raindrop applicator (which Lancome uses as well) that is very handy for applying the gloss neatly. You get 6 ml and they cost £7.65-£7.69 depending on where you buy them.

For me these glosses are a little on the sheer side, I prefer my glosses to have better colour pay off. They do look very cute though and if you like sheer glosses, they might be for you.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows Review and Swatches Part 6 - The Hungarian Edition

I know, there seems to be a neverending supply of these reviews, but I just can't get enough of these amazing eyeshadows. Nowadays I really don't buy a lot of eyeshadows from high street brands, but if I find something real good I'll keep going back for more.

In this post I have Forever Pink and Smoothie Kiwi to show you. I bought these during my trip to Hungary earlier this month as these shades aren't available in the UK for some reason. Forever Pink is a lovely shimmery light rosy pink colour, Smoothie Kiwi is the only matte shade I own, it is a light little bit yellowy grass green. Forever Pink is very similar to the other shades I own, smooth, pigmented, easy to blend. Smoothie Kiwi is actually quite hard to work with, it's quite sheer and needs a few layers to show up as intense as it looks in the pot. It also fades rather quickly. It's a lovely shade, but I would love it more if it was shimmery (not a big fan of mattes) and as easy to use as Forever Pink.

As I said, I bought these in Hungary and I really can't remember how much they costs, but they were similarly priced to UK prices (currently £6.99, although I'm sure there's some sort of an offer going somewhere).

If you would like to check out my reviews on all the other shades I own, here are the links:

Part 1 (Purple Obsession, Flashback Silver, Goldmine, Bronze Divine)

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows Review and Swatches Part... Erm, 5 I Think?

I can't even remember how many of these posts I have done already and this isn't the end either! I have thoroughly got sucked into buying these eyeshadows, they are so good and easy to use, yet really reasonably priced. If you'd like to check out my other reviews, please click on the links below:

Part 1 (Purple Obsession, Flashback Silver, Goldmine, Bronze Divine)
Part 2 (Permanent Kaki, Sahara Treasure)
Part 3 (Infinite Sky, Amber Rush)
Part 4 (Naughty Strawberry, Innocent Turqouise, Sassy Marshmallow, Magnetic Coral)

This time I have All Night Blue and Time Resist White to show you. All Night Blue is a dark royal blue and Time Resist White is a frosty white shade (it looks quite yellow in the pot, but applies white). Out of all the shades I own I found All Night Blue the hardest to work with, although that doesn't mean it's bad, just less good than the others. It swatches beautifully, but applies quite unevenly and therefore requires more work to blend it out. I think it might be because it's quite dark, the lighter shades are always easier to blend. It's a lovely colour though. I wore All Nigh Blue in the crease with Inifinite Sky on the lid and Time Resist White to highlight yesterday and it looked lovely. Time Resist White is quite frosty, so you might not like it if you don't do frosty highlighters, but it looks pretty cool in the inner corner even if you don't fancy it as a browbone highlighter.

L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows cost £6.99 each, but there's usually a deal on, currently it's buy one get one half price at Boots and 3 for 2 at Superdrug.
