Want It: Guerlain Sun In The City Terracotta Collection Summer 2012

Here's another collection to get excited about! As well as their upcoming summer collection Terra Azzurra, Guerlain is also releasing their usual Terracotta collection. Once again an absolutely stunning promo picture with the ever so gorgeous Natalia Vodianova.

The star product of the collection is the Golden Glimmer Powder (£43). A face and body powder with creamy texture and metallic gold shimmer with a mother-of-pearl concentrate (75%). Guerlain says, "Adds shimmer to any tan with its precious metal glints like a skin-enhancing top coat." Probably not the best if you're not a fan of shimmer, but since I am, I will definitely be getting this one!

Carry on readiing to find out what other products have tickled my fancy from this collection!

Terracotta Blush Sun Shimmer Highlighter (£28) comes in two shades: 02 Sunny Pink and 03 Spicy Coral (what happened to 01 by the way?). These are described as  featherlight fluid texture blushes with mother-of-pearl concentrate that instantly illuminates the cheekbones. Guerlain suggest the pink shade for blondes and coral shade for brunettes. Although I am certainly more interested in Sunny Pink and I'm a brunette.

Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder (£33.50) comes in 4 shades:
  • 02 Blondes, with its pink accents and soft tanned tones, beautifully enhances the naturally rosy colour of blondes and fair skin,
  • 03 Brunettes, enriched with its coral touches and warm shades, adds bright radiance to the golden tan of brunettes and olive skin. Perfect at the height of summer when your tan is at its best,
  • 04 Sun Blondes and 05 Sun Brunettes in brighter coral and pink colours, with heightened bronzed shades, and also richer in iridescent particles. Perfect for intense tan or mixed race skin.
I already own 02 Blondes and also a limited edition shade from a couple of years ago (Blondes Halees I think it's called), so I won't be indulging in these ones myself.

So what do you think? Are you interested in anything?

The collection is exclusively available at Debenhams from 11th March 2012 (although I have noticed the Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powders are already up on the Debenhams website!) and nationwide from 1st April!
