You might remember this post from last month, so I thought I'd do a little update to show you how I'm getting on. I've used up quite a few of my samples, still have plenty to go, and so far there have been two products that I really liked, and so ended up purchasing the full sized article. Although the whole point was that I use up the samples before I purchase any more skincare products, in my defence, the products I bought I didn't actually own similar things to.
Firstly, I got Chanel Body Excellence Revitalizing Smoothing Scrub which is a lovely body scrub with a gorgeous scent that I just couldn't resist. Now unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available in the shops anymore (you guessed it, I got it on eBay), which is a shame, because it's very nice. Gentle enough, but effective, leave my skin really soft, and it smells gorgeous.
See more pictures and find out what other products I purchased!
The other product I've purchased is actually two products. I had a sample of Rituals Hand Therapy, which is a nurishing and softening handscrub. It's something I'd never tried before, basically you use it on your dry hands, then wash it off and it leaves you hands feeling soft and moisturised. I decided to purchase the matching hand balm to go with it. I've been using it for a few days and it's really good. My hands dry out so badly in this weather, and the scrub and balm have certainly helped. The handscrub costs £9.90 and the handbalm is £8.90, both available at www.rituals.com.
So that's it so far, I will update you later on if I find other products among my samples that I really like. (I have been using Guerlain Super Aqua Day Cream for a while, but really wish Guerlain put some SPF in their day creams.) Have you purchased anything because you liked the sample you tried out?
