Chantecaille Tiger In The Wild palette and pictures of my collection

I love Chantecaille's limited edition palettes, my obsession with them started in 2008 when they released their Protected Paradise eyeshadow and face powder (more on them below). I have finally managed to get my hands on their newest beauty, Tiger In The Wild. It had been on my wishlist for a few months, but I was very reluctant to pay £73 for it. You know me, I love my bargains, so I was chuffed to find it on eBay for "just" £41.99 delivered.

What is it? A four pan gunmetal sleek palette (pans are removable, so it is refillable) with 3 eyeshadows (Cream, Pewter and Indigo) and a blush (Persimmon). You also get a very good size mirror. All 4 pans come in a beautiful tiger design to celebrate and raise awareness for the wild tiger, and as usual, Chantecaille are donating a percentage of the profits to support TRAFFIC, an international wildlife trade monitoring organisation to help save last tigers in the wild. So if you're having trouble justifying the price, it's all for a good cause! I love the design and the colours seem very wearable and pretty. I apologise in advance for the lack of swatches though, I have not touched it yet, I'm a bit funny like this and don't like messing up gorgeous palettes and powders. But I will show you some close up pictures though and you can find some great swatches here and here.

In this post I would also like to show you my pretty amazing Chantecaille collection, if you're anything like me, you surely won't mind drooling over the pictures I'm sure.

Finally, you can see pictures of my Chantecaille collection below. In case you were wondering why most of them are untouched, it's because I'm a freak and don't like to mess up pretty designs. But I do use them as well, I have backups for all the face powders and also some of the palettes (I didn't want to include them in the pictures because they look a bit sad once the pretty design is gone). Luckily I didn't have to pay full price for any of them (thanks to eBay), except for the two Protected Paradise palettes which I wanted so badly, I had them shipped from the US. They were still marginally cheaper than they would've been if I'd bought them in the UK, we seem to pay pound for dollar prices here for Chantecaille products (Americans pay $78 for the Tiger In The Wild Palette, we pay £73 which is roughly $121!). Tad unfair really. Anyway... See my collection below (all pictures are clickable, so you can see the details better if you wish).

  10. I have always wondered about these eye shadows... like the butterflies. Does it have different colors all the way through or just decoration? So gorgeous...

  11. Yes, the colours run all the way through (as far as I've got anyway), but the shimmery overspray does come off after first use. This is the same for all the eyeshadows and face powders.

  12. You have a beautiful collection, would you be able to post swatches of your White Tiger and Le Corail?

  13. I can't really do swatches as they won't show up, the Coral is a highlighter, very hard to show in a picture, but you can see me wearing the White Tiger in my recent looks.

  17. Ok. I just bought the Rites Of Spring Palette! I am totally and 100% blaming YOU. I got it for $70 two minutes ago. Not bad considering the cost of each shadow individually. So you suck, are a terrible influence, and I thank you for it!!!
