NOTD: Andrea Fulerton and Claire's - Now We're Talking!
You might remember my disappointing experience with Claire's glitter top coat over the lovely Andrea Fulerton pink nail polish (from the Princess duo) - if not, check out this post. I also purchased a holographic glitter top coat with blue and light pink large glitter that I tried out over my lovely Andrea Fulerton nail polish. This time I was pretty happy. Firstly, there was a lot more glitter on my nails after just one coat. Secondly, it didn't chip off nearly as quickly as the other one did. I did however apply it about 24 hours after applying the Andrea Fulerton nail polish plus Nails Inc top coat, so maybe that made the difference.

However, the amount of glitter in this is so much better than the other one I tried. I reckon if you were to use it on its own, 3 coats would give a pretty good coverage. Maybe I should give it a go! Let me know if you have this nail polish and whether you've tried it on it own! This one cost around £2.25 and is avialble from Claire's by the way.
See more pictures after the jump!

The Great 30 Day Lipstick Challenge - Week 3
Now that I'm into the second half of my 30 day lipstick challenge, I am having more of a difficulty picking out the lipsticks I want to wear. Even though there are approx. 60 lipsticks in the box with a variety of different shades and finishes, I feel that I find it hard choosing. Also I want to make sure I choose from different brands, so it's not too boring for you either. This week I actually used lipsticks from 6 brands and managed to choose a variety of shades too, so not too bad. We'll see how the last 9 days go, although this has been good fun, my Guerlain and Chanel lipsticks are calling my name. It's funny though as I suspect many of you out there don't even have 60 lipsticks, but obviously I get bored quickly and need to have a lot of them to keep me happy.

Anyway these are the lipsticks I wore this week:
1. Lancome L'Absolu Rouge in shade 350
2. No7 Moisture Drench lipstick in 50 Cameo
3. L'Occitane Pivoine Flora lipstick in 02 Rose Pique
4. Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in 440 Cherries In The Snow
5. Maybelline ColorSensational lipstick in 148 Summer Pink
6. Mac Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Full Speed
7. Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in 415 Pink In The Afternoon
Find out what I thought about these lipsticks and see swatches (including lip swatches) after the jump!

The RapidLash Challenge Day 29
It's been 4 weeks since I started using Rapidlash, a lash enhancing serum, and I have some pictures to show you. Unfortunately there has been almost no visible improvements to my lashes (I can see some longer lashes, but that's all), although it did say on the instructions that you're supposed to see improvements after about 8 weeks (and that leaves me with the question, why is Rapidlash called Rapidlash, since there is nothing rapid about it, but anyway). So far I am still sceptical, but haven't given up hope that one day I will have nice, long, lush eyelashes.

I'm not posting comparison pictures this time as I said there's no point, but if you want to see what my lashes looked like originally, check out this post. I will however do a proper comparison post in another 4 weeks time. For now, see how my lashes are looking after 4 weeks of using Rapidlash after the jump!

Laura Geller Baked Marble Eyeshadow/Eye Rimz in Cinnamon Swirl/Mint Chocolate Chip + FOTD
Bit of a mouthful, huh? Anyway, this is my newest Laura Geller baked eyeshadow, it cam out in the same (Vanilla Nudes) collection as the Baked Dreams Cheek Highlighter and Blush I told you about the other day.

What you have hereis basically a baked eyeshadow duo. On the left you get a mixture of autumnal shades: orange, brown and khaki swirled together. On the right you have a very shimmery blackened green eyeshadow that can also be used as a highlighter. I have found that it is best used wet because otherwise it's a bit chalky and the shimmers get lost when applied to the eyelids dry. I used it wet as an eyeliner and it is gorgeous. The left side of the eyeshadow is slightly larger and has good chunks of separate colours, so I managed to pick out the orange and khaki (but there's a nice big brown patch too) to create the look you can see at the bottom of the post. The left side is perfectly good applied dry, in fact I never even tried it wet.
I used my Barbara Daly eyeshadow primer under this and the shadows didn't crease at all and still looked the same 10+ hours later. There was minimal fallout during application, but nothing afterwards. The compact is 1.8 g, so pretty much standard baked eyeshadow size. As it was part of a set, I haven't got a price for this, I don't think it's available to puchase on its own anyway.
Make sure you go all the way down to the bottom of this post as I have a look I've created with this eyeshadow duo which I think turned out really well actually. There are also swatches after the jump.

Finished! The September edition
Not too many things this month I'm afraid as I finished an awful lot of products last month and there are quite a few products that I've been using every day and they refuse to die. Hopefully there'll be a lot more next month.
First up is actually a product that I was planning on including in last month's Finished! post, but it simply refused to run out. I used it pretty much every day and it still lasted another month. Actually it still had some life left in it, but since I'd actually had it for about 2 years already, I decided it had to go. It's Givenchy Phenomen'eyes mascara, one of my HG mascaras, I love it, it really works for me. I have reviewed it already, so read this post if you want to know more about it.

See which other products I've finished this month!

Laura Geller Baked Cheek Dreams Highlighter and Blush in Banana Split
Firstly, I'm sorry I haven't been posting for a few days and that my blog sale is still not up, but I've been very busy with the children and school, plus I haven't been feeling well for the last couple of days. Also it's been so hot in the South of England, we've been playing in the garden and even got the paddling pool out. Very unusual for October, to say the least. I have managed to take quite a lot of photos, but writing up posts has been too tiring and time consuming, so I haven't done any. Sorry. I will try my best to post more next week.

What I have got today is another baked product from Laura Geller. This is from the Vanilla Nudes collection, a 3-in-1 blush/bronzer/highlighter. I already have this in 2 other shades, Neapolitan and Vanilla Peach Cobbler. I like the bronzer/blush shade which is a nice shimmery bronze, and the colour of the blush in the middle is also really pretty pinky purple, but unfortunately the middle strip is so thin, it is almost impossible to pick it out alone. When I used it on my cheeks, I ended up mixing the bronze and pink/purple together. The highlighter is very subtle and not at all shimmery, and it's a good portion of the whole compact, so easy to pick up on its own. The compact is 9 g as usual.
I think this is another nice product from Laura Geller, but if you don't like shimmery blushes, then it's not for you. It is disappointing that the middle strip is so thin as it's a really pretty colour, but maybe you can use a very small brush to pick it up. You can see me wearing the blush and bronzer in this FOTD picture and there are lots of swatches after the jump!
